Welcome to Espoo Squash Rackets Club, ESRC in short!

Join ESRC, the biggest squash club in Finland to play squash in good company! We are appr. 350 squash players starting from young three-year-olds to well experienced senior players. Many of Finland’s current top players are members of ESRC.

We play mostly at Esport Center, in Espoo, Tapiola, Kivenlahti Squash in Espoo, Kivenlahti and Targa arena, in Espoo, Ymmersta. It is advisable to book a court in advance: Esport Center: 0300 472 300 (0,99 € / min), Kivenlahti Squash: Kivenlahti Squash or Targa arena: 09-84934310.

ESRC membership benefits for adults (over 19 years):

1) Club evening Fridays at Kivenlahti Squash: 4.30 pm to 7 pm for all ESRC members and Saturdays at Esport Center upper courts: 2.45 pm – 4.45 pm for top juniors and league players, 4.45 pm – 6.45 pm for all ESRC members. From 1.1.2023 fee for club nights is 5 € / night for ESRC adult members to be paid beforehand on MobilePay. MP number for Kivenlahti Squash club nights is 66443 and MP number for Esport Center club nights is 82863. Season fees also available, more info from info@esrc.fi.

2) Reduced court fees outside of primetime. (Esport: weekdays 7.15 am – 3.15 pm, Saturdays all day and Sundays until 6.15 pm. ; Kivenlahti Squash & Targa Arena: weekdays before 4.00 pm, Saturdays and Sundays all day)

3) discount for Esport 12 month Fitness Card 15 %

4) discount at Esport Shop 15 – 20 %

5) at Kivenlahti Squash & Esport Center: very affordable summer card for unlimited playing between June 1 and August 14

ESRC membership benefits for juniors (under 20 years):

1) if you join a junior coaching group you can play squash at Esport Center and Kivenlahti Squash for free on free courts (no beforehand booking) by just giving your name at Esport Center cashier or booking a court at Kivenlahti.

2) if you are NOT in a junior coaching group, you can play with a discounted price on free courts at Esport Center and Kivenlahti Squash.

3) discount for Esport 12 month Fitness Card 50 % (minimum age 14)

4) discount at Esport Shop 15 – 20 %

5) at Esport Center and Kivenlahti Squash: very affordable summer card for limitless playing between June 1 and August 14

ESRC activities for adults:

  • You can join our monthly box league “Espoon lohkoliiga” www.esrc.fi/lohkoliiga
  • To enhance your squash you are welcome to join our adult coaching groups.See more info in our adult coaching section (in Finnish only).
  • There are several competitions and other events that ESRC organizes for its members. To find out the schedule, please refer to ESRC Tapahtumakalenteri (Event Schedule).
  • ESRC plays with several men’s and ladies’ teams on all the national Squash League levels. Send an email to info@esrc.fi if you want to join and let us know about your playing level.

ESRC activities for juniors:

  • ESRC offers coaching in groups for children of all ages by professional squash coaches
  • New members are welcome all year round. Send us your contact info and we’ll be in touch with you.

How to join ESRC:

  • Send us your contact info (info@esrc.fi) and we’ll be in touch with you or
  • Fill out the membership application.
  • You’ll receive a welcome message and an invoice for the yearly membership fee via e-mail. You can check the current fees here.
  • You are advised to obtain accident insurance before playing squash. If you want to take part in official competitions you’ll need to obtain a Squash Licence from the Finnish Squash Association.
